That song is absolutely hilarious. What really scares me is that I can't tell if the music in the beginning is a joke or not.
And as for the atheism aspect, I've found that a lot of people are also a bit afraid to actually come out and label themselves as an atheist. I've encountered more than a few people who will call themselves Christians when asked, but then say that they don't believe in God. It's all about connotations again, I guess.

You do talk about your religion. It's called science. It's a system of beliefs you hold to be true, just like any other faith. The unique part of your religion is that it relies on hypothesis, scientific method and the ability to prove or disprove your beliefs based on evidence and fact.

Herein lies the problem, the reason why Atheists rank so high on the list of hated groups; your religion is a threat to the fundamentalist interpretation of the bible so necessary to the evangelists.

Why else do you think there is so much opposition to the idea Evolution? Why does that teacher in Florida have to fight against so many influences trying to undo his attempts at education? Why were people martyred for science, for the ideas of heliocentrism, by Spanish Inquisition?

There are people that see your religion as a threat, one greater than Islam or Judaism because, unlike the other Abrahamic religions, it questions the very foundations of their beliefs. By the tenets of your own religion, the rules of the game, they are inherently wrong. Nobody likes being told they're wrong, especially people who are psychotic.

No, that song at the beginning is real. I think its AILD, but I'm not 100%. Typical screamo.

@John

I get what you're trying to say overall, but you need to define what you mean by religion and science. "A set of beliefs" does not a religion make. Libertarianism is a set of beliefs, but it isn't a religion. Science by definition is not faith based, it's evidence based (with the single necessary "belief" that the past predicts the future. Fucking Hume). That said, science is a way of thinking, a philosophy. There are ideas we associate with science (evolution, germ theory, quantum theory), but the word science as you're using refers to a philosophy, not a set of beliefs.
